Well week 1 is over and we are under way into the next. Not going to lie, I am glad that first week is over. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to write my KCQ’s in a way that made sense to anyone other than me. Which is one thing I struggle with in my communication skills – ideas generally get stuck in my head and often muddled onto paper!

But, Step 1 is completed and marked, and I didn’t completely mess it up. Yahoo! Here is a copy of my ASS #1 – Step 1 KCQ’s. Looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks have in store and reading other KCQ’s from you all.

Hi there!

To write about myself is a bizzare feeling, but here goes.

I am 27 years old, married to a wonderful handsome man and a mum to the most adorable and fun loving 14 month old little boy. We live in beautiful tropical North Queensland.

I have worked in the finance industry for the last 7 odd years, in a variety of roles & companies. Ranging from mortgage broker assistant to a vehicle finance specialist. It has been throughout these roles, that finance and accounting have become of an interest to myself.

I enjoy studying and learning new skills. Although this was definitely not evident during my schooling time. Lets just say I am distracted easily and can get tired of repetitive tasks. But I have undertaken numerous certificate courses over the years, and proven to myself I am capable. I now feel ready to commit to studying a degree in accounting — so lets do this!!
